Leek and Potato Soup

Hello, everyone!

Last month, we held a combined ‘chat while you cook’ lesson, a new event for us. We made leek and potato soup. Fortunately, the soup turned out quite well, I think, and we enjoyed eating it very much , so if you’d like to join, feel free to contact the school.

  • Hi,

In England I used to eat a lot of oxtail soup and cream of tomato soup but I haven`t managed to find any over here. It`s strange as Heinz is an American company and you can get lots of American goods in Japan. However, I believe that Americans usually eat Campbell`s soup and that Heinz soup is mainly for the British market. I`m not so keen on Campbell`s myself. Maybe I should get to Neil`s class and learn how to make some myself!!

  • The Heinz and Campbell’s soup I’ve found in Japan is subtly different from the ones in England. I really love Broccoli and Stilton soup-the London based Covent Garden Soups company do a really delicious one. Again, I’ve never been able to track down a comparable one in Japan but I’m still looking! I can also definitely recommend Neil’s Leek and Potato soup!

  • Dear Neil:

    Hello.

Your school sound like one that I would love to work at. How can I send you my resume?
